The Cross Section Layout dialog box allows you to define the curb data, lane data, topping thickness and most importantly the layout of the girders. While the curb data, lane data, and topping thickness are already discussed in detail in the General Operation chapter, only the new features are discussed here.

Beam numbering is based on looking upstation, and Beam 1 being referenced as the extreme left-hand-side girder with all other beams following sequentially in each span. The Distance from previous beam at start or end of each span is always measured along the pier length (accounting for any skew). For the first beam in each span, this distance is measured from the pier cap edge (to account for cases where the pier cap length may not be the same as deck width, etc.).
